1. The applicant must hold a valid Private Pilot Licence or higher to be eligible for the Night Rating.
2. The applicant must hold an unrestricted Category 1 or 3 Medical Certificate completed by a Transport Canada approved Medical Examiner.
7 hours Minimum consisting of:
5 hours dual minimum (with instructor)
2 hours solo with minimum 5 takeoffs and landings
Note: These flight training times are based on Transport Canada minimums and more training may be required
An applicant must satisfy all training criteria as outlined in the Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs)
Privileges Of The Float Plane Rating Permit Holder:
This rating entitles you to use water surfaces for take-off and landing.
